Getting started with the Gully Chain app

This guide is for people using the Gully Chain app at app.gullychain.xyz. Building on the chain instead? Start with the Quickstart or the developer portal.
Note
Gully Chain runs on testnet. Tokens on it have no real-world value, and the testnet may be reset before mainnet.
#1. Join with a passkey
Open app.gullychain.xyz/welcome and create your Gully ID. A passkey (Face ID, a fingerprint or your device PIN) is your sign-in and your wallet key: there is no seed phrase to write down and no card. Your profile is your wallet, and gas is sponsored for your first transactions.
You can also sign in at gullyid.xyz (opens in a new tab) with Telegram or Farcaster, and install Gully ID as an app from your browser's menu. Need testnet ETH? Use the faucet (0.0005 ETH per address per day) or the bridge.
#2. Find your way around
The app has five tabs:

#3. Watch Shorts
Shorts are short vertical videos from creators. Swipe up for the next one, tip the creator, or share it: every Short has a share card and an embed code (see Share and embed). Longer films and videos are under Watch.
#4. Join a creator: memberships and locked content
Creators can sell monthly memberships. Members unlock the creator's members-only posts and videos; everyone else sees that the post is locked and can join from there. Payments settle in USDC.e to the creator's wallet.
- Fans: join from a creator's profile or from one of their locked posts. Your memberships are under Me (renewals under your one-tap limit take one tap, see below).
- Creators: set your price and perks in Studio at /studio/memberships, then mark a post or video as members-only when you publish it.
#5. Make a meme, Remix it, Launch it as a coin
Open the meme maker at /create/meme: pick an image, add your text and post it. On any meme you can:
- Remix: re-caption, stitch or duet someone else's meme. The remix credits and links the original automatically, and a creator can turn remixes off.
- Launch as coin: on your own meme, turn it into a token on Gully Chain. You review the launch and approve it with your passkey (launching a coin always needs the passkey).

#Launch on Gully Core
Any token, meme or not, launches on Gully Core, the chain's launchpad and DEX core. Open /launch: pick a name, a ticker and a picture and launch in one transaction. The token trades from the first block, its liquidity is locked forever, and an opening fee that falls over the first minute makes sniping expensive (most of it comes back to you). Trade it with Swap, follow it on its token page, and see the numbers in Analytics. Fees and limits: Gully Core.
#6. One-tap approvals in Gully ID
You do not need your passkey for every small payment. In Gully ID, small, everyday spends take one tap:

The daily limit is $25 by default (in USDC.e), adjustable per app from $0 to $250; $0 allows free actions only. It resets every UTC day. The rules are enforced on chain by your smart account (CallPolicy, a 7-day TimestampPolicy and GullySessionPolicy 0xFDEB7b7715200dBc94A058BA1254b863c08D070E), so even a leaked session key cannot spend past them. Gully ID also has Send and Receive: Receive shows your address as a QR code to scan, and Send pays another account from your wallet.
#7. Claim your .gully name
A .gully name is a readable name for your wallet, like you.gully, used for your profile URL
(app.gullychain.xyz/@you) and for payments. Claim it on the ID tab in Gully ID (opens in a new tab) or in the app at
/names. Registration is free and first come, first served on testnet. More in

#8. Season 0
Season 0 runs in the app at /season-0 until 2026-11-26. It is a set of on-chain quests: claim a Sentry Key, make your first swap, bridge to Gully Chain, launch a token, follow the Gully Chain Telegram channel and refer a friend. Completed quests count XP on the quest leaderboard.
Heads up
Early activity is recorded on chain, no airdrop is promised. Season 0 rewards are testnet XP and badges.

#9. Gully in Telegram
The Telegram Mini App puts Gully inside Telegram. Open it from a Gully bot's menu button (it lives at app.gullychain.xyz/tg; in a normal browser that page explains how to open it). Sign in with your Telegram account and use your wallet without leaving the chat. You can pair it with your passkey account from your phone's browser, or back up a Telegram-first wallet with a passkey.
