On this page

Gully Chain is an Arbitrum Orbit L3 built by Gully Labs. It runs Arbitrum Nitro, settles to Arbitrum and pays gas in ETH. Any EVM contract, wallet or tool works on it unchanged, and Stylus lets you write contracts in Rust.

The testnet is live and settles to Arbitrum Sepolia. Mainnet will settle to Arbitrum One; it is not live yet.

Live

Watch the chain in real time on the testnet stats page: block height, transactions and gas per block, a live block feed, batch posting and service status.

#How the chain fits together

Your app talks to Gully Chain over standard EVM JSON-RPC. Gully Chain is a layer 3: its sequencer posts transaction batches to Arbitrum Sepolia, and Arbitrum in turn settles to Ethereum. Mainnet will use Arbitrum One as the parent chain.

What ships on top of the bare chain, and where each piece stands today:

  • Bridge and tokens (live): the canonical Arbitrum token bridge for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, plus WETH9 and Permit2.
  • Smart accounts (rolling out): ERC-4337 EntryPoint v0.7 and v0.8 and the Safe 4337 module are deployed. The bundler, paymaster and Safe core contracts come next. See Account abstraction.
  • .gully names (coming): readable names like alice.gully. See .gully names.
  • DeepCore launchpad (coming): built into the chain. See DeepCore launchpad.

Note

The testnet may be reset as the chain moves toward mainnet. Do not keep anything on it that you cannot redeploy.
